Shoutout to Tiraya Adam for this reference picture!
I wanted to practice more with values so I found this really cool seaside cliff picture that had amazing colors. It’s kinda surreal with how the sky and ocean just illuminate this bluish purple hue to it. This was truly taken at peak sunset. It must’ve been amazing in the moment. But nevertheless, I started to understand how values work when I was painting the cliffs. As they were progressively getting farther away, I lighten the color and desaturate it to invoke that atmospheric pressure when you look off into the distance. I also got play with water and how to paint the flow of waves. I still need to learn how to paint cliffs too haha. I’m not very good at drawing cracks yet, but it’s slowly getting there.
But how are you guys doing?? Or gals? I hope you’re doing well :) Please stay warm cause it’s getting really cold now. I’m really close to showcasing what I’ve been creating. These are the last final wallpapers that I’m pushing out until I can show you what I’ve been creating. But for now, I hope you enjoy this! As always, take care and I love youuuu ♥︎
